So, what is 'The Queeriosity Project’? Where are you right now? Well, working out how to explain this thing I wanted to build has been half the journey, and this website attempts to encapsulate everything I want to do as part it.
The Queeriosity Project (TQP) itself is technically just me, Chai Jayde (they/them, neuroqueer disabled person) showing my journey and making a ‘job’ out of the things that keep me happy and fulfilled. Think of this project as a piece of art showing you my world, like we used to do with personalised blogs in the 2000s. You can choose how, when, and how much to engage, and so can I - socially, with your work, on your own neuroqueer journey, alongside what you actually have capacity to do.
What The Queeriosity Project offers broadly falls into four categories:
Peer Support, PRC & Ment0oring
NDIS and Self Funded Options For Lived Experience Support
In-person & Online Options
Neuroqueer Support Network
A new, ready to grow database to help neuroqueer thinkers connect and refer on to similar providers
Disability Education & Training
Lived Experience Led and peer built training on Diversity and Disability
Affordable & Online
Just like me, The Queeriosity Project doesn't really fit any of societies clear existing labels. I hope you can feel my joy and my passion throughout this project - and if you do, I can’t wait to connect with you.

My Living & Working Life
I am neurodivergent (AuDHD & CPTSD), disabled (EDS, POTS et al), and an NDIS participant. I live on unceded Kaurna land, and most of my work is based in Australia. I’m everything I felt I wasnt allowed to be when I was young, and I’m thriving - TQP is how I am channelling and sharing that.
In 2020, I upended my whole life: I got divorced, came out as transgender and polyamorous, and dove into various types of sex work, non-traditional relationships, and kink/BDSM culture with genuine passion and excitement. This culminated in estrangement from my family, and, ultimately, the start of a brand new chapter in my story - one written entirely by me.
I’ve done it all in terms of jobs - bouncing from real estate, to office admin, to sex work, and eventually, to disability peer support,. For the last 3.5 years, I have been doing mentoring and mental health peer work in Adelaide, predominantly with young gender diverse folk. I have also tried my hand at event speaking and training, including conferences, charity events, and inclusivity training for the workplace. My degree is in politics and international relations (a university endeavor that while fascinating, had no desirable career prospects for me), and I am currently completing my diploma in counselling to help support my existing work.
Why The Queeriosity Project Exists:
(TL;DR: It’s good for my neurotype and my brain):
Rather than a business, TQP is a place for me to spend time on everything I need to do in order to thrive, and to share it with my peers - all in one place. TQP isn't about profit or sales: I have no growth mindset and very few of the things here have money involved at all, by design and necessity. Instead, this project will continue to change shape and move forward alongside my capacity, while honouring my body and my neurotype.
As a person, I am now (after many years overthinking and fighting myself as we all do) skilled at a bunch of things that are hard to articulate, and TQP is where you’ll find all those things, as well as a window into how I have managed to find myself in a place in life where this project is even possible, It fosters my own growth, and offers to bring you along with me when you can.
I can’t work a normal job comfortably long term for so many reasons - I know this about myself now. TQP almost feels like my neuroqueer equivalent to having children, writing a book, or pursuing a mainstream career - it is my next stage of life and my ongoing ‘thing’. I have spent the last five years working hard on myself, and it shows in how proud I am of the person I have become - The Queeriosity Project lets me live that life, instead of just think about it.
Thanks to some long winded therapy and lots of shadow work, I realised most of my discomfort in life now was caused by being stuck in my own head for various reasons - I was so busy thinking, I was forgetting to enjoy what I had built. Slowly and with a lot of tears and fears, The Queeriosity Project came together. Everything here is me creating a way to feel secure in the beautiful life I’ve built, and every person I meet is someone I hope to bring along with me on that journey.
I love to talk, and even if we only connect through one conversation, that’s enough for me to know that what we discussed means something - so please reach out in whatever way you feel suits you right now.
